ANTISEISMIC ADJUSTMENT OF PREFABRICATED PROPERTY FOR COMMERCIAL USE, San donà di Piave - VE
After the recent earthquake in Emilia Romagna, which demonstrated the vulnerability of prefabricated buildings, Benfar sas, the owner of a 2500 square meter building, decided to intervene for a seismic adjustment of the structures. For the adaptation, an innovative system was developed with the use of "shock absorbers" specially developed by the Bisiol engineering study, according to the most modern anti-seismic adaptation technologies. In this way, in addition to the 100% adjustment of the seismic action as a rule, the service level was increased, making the building immeditely accessible after a seismic event.
